Nice workmanship here. You're giving me a lot of new ideas and insights on how to get rid of all of the wire mess ;) BTW: The room is absolutely huge. Notice how the BS9000 is completely dwarfed in the first photo...

[quote user="vikinger"] Bear in mind that for new construction in the UK timber cladding on internal walls would not comply with the Building Regs on account of fire risk. That's probably also a good reason to avoid it with later feature construction: an electrical fault in wiring you'd hidden behind the wood could quickly have the

I prefer to go the LED route. My BS2000 currently still with a cheap Akai turntable and Iiyama 22" monitor that doubles as a TV, the wall is lit by Chauvet LED Colourstrips that are operated through DMX. Eventually, I'll get a more permanent solution and build the DMX chain throughout the entire flat, as I have a USB-DMX converter, the whole

[quote user="j0hnbarker"] I usually buy my 2 pin DIN plugs and sockets from Maplins, but as they were out of stock, I bought some from eBay instead. The cheapo eBay ones don't have the polarity set out on the screw connectors so could someone please remind me what the spade/pins are respectively, and if they're the same on the socket

Hallo Doc113, Danke fur irhen Frage. auf diesen Message Boards wird man erwartet English zu sprichen, Sie können ihren Frage aber auch in das Deutsches Message Board stellen, oder es hier in English versuchen. Answer: I'm not a Beocom owner (let alone the DECT series) so I can't really help you here. There might be a pairing issue between

True if you have a Beocenter 2300 (with Powerlink out). The 'old' Beosystem 2300 (consisting of BM2300 model 2905 and BC2000/BG2000 and the like) has phono input, but this is a rare model, being the predecessor of the BM2000 model 2911/2913/2917.

Don't forget that a lot of people have probably seen a dozen B&O's in their life, but haven't noticed them or haven't seen the fact that they were B&O's. Hint: Quite a few people on these boards probably have a piece of the Battlestar Galactica set in their living room as the main CD audio system. Point is, B&O may not

The easiest route here, of course, is to keep the Beocenter for your stereo fronts and use a different amplifier and speakers for your surrounds and center. If you've got decent speakers, there's little need for a subwoofer. That's the plan I have for my Beosystem 2000 as well, obviously, it doesn't support surround sound output and

Judging by the logo, you're NOT telling me the 'Event Manager' is nobody less than mister Branson himself?! (Which I would, honestly, not be surprised to be a B&O nut). Transport and accomodations in London are quite a chop in my bank, so I'll have a look around and see if I can arrange something. I've got a lot of events in
