I presume the draw is officially postponed Well there's always another cold Belgian beer in the fridge I hope Prizebot gets his bits and bytes lined up for Monday...

Hi The failed lamps will not cause your problem but if you are getting a lamp kit then I would recommend a capacitor kit too. Also change the bias trimmers and then see where you are. I think the 1900-2 was the first Beomaster I restored and it is still giving my son much pleasure. Another potential problem is a failed potentiometer (bass, treble or

Well today I had the boxes in bits to clean and work out how they work. I have photos but whenever I try to upload the server appears to freeze Anyway, there are 26 relays (13 in each box), the line in is simultaneously connected to all 5 line out via an attenuator/amplifier that is controlled by the 8 sliders. That means the a slider will only control

Well sort of. There are eight sliders which suggest that they allow the output to the speakers to be balanced and that is what the person that sold it to me suggested they do. What I can tell you is that it has an offical B&O sticker on the back: Beocomparator Series 02 The part numbers are 8802033 & 8802029. And it is number 0729 which suggest

This involved my son and I holding the set with its back down towards

Maybe someone with access to the online B&O service guides can tell us if your part number replaces the one in the hard copy service guide I have...

Welcome to Beoworld A very sad but not uncommon end to wall mounted Beomaster 3/4500. The best you can hope for is someone selling a non-functional Beomaster3/4500 on Marktplaats (with a non broken glass) and then using it for its glass panel. Always remove all of the old failed tape with Brand Spirtus (methelated spirits) and re-glue with a small amount

Hi I have an original manual (I must send it to Peter for scanning) and it lists it as: - 8480248 Woofer. Richard
