I did consider a Beomaster indeed, but this would not work for me because I want to hide the hardware and have a separate IR sensor on the wall, hence the Beolink Active idea.

I am considering a 'light' B&O setup for one of my places. Contrary to my other full B&O systems, this one would consist only of a MacBookPro and a pair of Beolab speakers. Dear all, the Beomaster 5500 has a 6 pin DIN socket for connecting the external IR sensor type 2001. Very useful in large rooms or when hidden in a cabinet. Does the Beomaster 7000 have a similar connection? In other words: is there a way to connect an external IR sensor to a Beomaster 7000 for use in the main room (i.e. without using a MCL2A)? And
