This site has them: http://www.extremephono.com/free_turntable_strobe_disk.htm Otherwise, I think you can pick them up on eBay. Dave.

Hi Steve, thanks for that. I just had a look at that video tutorial and also searched for capacitor replacement and found a really good video which helped a lot. I've read some of Martins replies and he says it is important to earth some components so you don't fry the PCB but I'm not sure how to go about that either. I have a Beomaster

Sonab seem to have used Peerless and Seas units as B&O did. Given the rivalry between Sweden and Denmark I'd be amazed if this were the case. I think he just means that Sonab used the same components as B&O - which is fair enough, but some of their speakers are ugly. Apparently they sound quite good though. Dave.

I'm no techie but that looks mighty impressive to me. I wouldn't know where to start and would probably fry all of the PCB's as soon as I took the cover off. I've just taken the amps off a pair of Beolab Pentas to send to Martin for servicing and I was sweating!. I'd love to be able to do some basic electronic work on some of my

Angus, this is something mine did too when I first got it. I used the left tracking button to move the arms all the way to the left and then all the way back again until the arms parked under the cover. Since then, It's worked faultlessly though as Martin with all of his experience says, a repair to caps etc will be on the cards. Dave.

Hi Iain and welcome to the forum. It's all a part of the auction game and I'm certainly not upset. The white P45's are a good find and an auction I was also tempted with. I've just outbid another Beoworlder on a Beogram 1500 and also just bought a Beogram 4000, 4002 and 4004 + a Thorens TD160 in the last month. I need to start selling

Hi Eddie, I'm not techie minded and suggest you contact Martin (Dillen) or Chris (medogsfat) to see what they suggest for a test. I think one of the problems with these is that people assume they are just any old speaker and plug them into something too powerful and blow them to pieces. There is a Beolab 5000 on eBay at the moment: http://cgi.ebay

Keep us updated. I'm interested to see if they work OK or not. Sounds good so far though and those pesky grills do fall off every now and again. Dave.

From the specs I've seen I thought tracking force was 1g. This is stated on the product specs for the Beogram 4000, MMC4000/SP15 pages on Beoworld. Dave.

Surely that means B&O are fourth as 'Apple' is the brand and the iphone and ipod just their products or am I missing something?. I'd put B&O above them all anyway. Dave.
