  • Re: New iMac?

A very quick google turned up database software on the Mac called FileMaker altho this does not seem to allow you access to MS Access files, another quick google and I found this software which seems to allow MS Access in FileMaker and Apple's iLife software. Or you could try BootCamp/Paralells - which I would like to try at some point. JoC

  • Re: Register your Warranty

The A8s where bought while on holiday in the US, so I never really expected a certificate to be sent back to the UK, but ironically enough I think the right arm over the ear needs replaced... so I guess I may need

Off all the B&O I have bought the only items I have no certificate for are the keyring & the A8 earphones (maybe they are too small to justify a certificate!!!). I did get two certificates for the BV7 - but only becuse the shop made a typo on the original invoice, so when they resubmitted the 2nd fixed invoice I got another certificate for the

I’ve been writing Windows software for about 15 years, and more and more I am becoming disillusioned (/frustrated) in the progress and direction of the OS. I have been looking at the Mac for sometime and now with the release of the new iMac I would like to make the jump – alas the only thing holding me back is the lack of understanding for

Yup, congrats on the BV9, excellent purchase. Would be interesting to see the size of the BV9 box, because my BV7-40 box was a tad on the big side

  • Re: Best looking CDs in BS9000

I have an album from Fierce Angels (can't remember which one as I aint at home), which has 3CDs, and the art on each CD is partially zoomed in from the previous CD - if that makes sense. Very nice effect when viewed in the BS9000.

If you can view them onscreen, you just hit PrtScr (printscreen), save each page, tedious I know... They may be copyright B&O, but a (clickable) watermark at the bottom of each page, just saying "provided by www.beoworld.org" may be enough for the buyer to be caught out once, then come to this site for further documents. Or password protect

  • Re: Beosystem 3, photo of rear connections wanted

wtlc2zpx: And everything is processed digitaly, sound and video... I cannot wait for the new BV7... it will have all the same connections. Hopefully the panel of the BV7 is brighter than the current one. Yup, ditto, and if my dealer can give me a good price to upgrade/trade in my 4 month old BV7, I will be over the moon

Might be an idea to place a watermark (discrete of course) on each page, saying something like "generated by www.beoworld.org" etc.
