I've just spent the afternoon replacing the Spkr 1 mute relay on my Beocenter 9500 - LH speaker (connected to Spkr 1) didn't come on when the Beocenter was switched on at low volumes. It works on the same principle as the 5500 hence seems a possible cause of the problem that you experienced - the fault on mine was intermittent for a few years

From the BV3 Service Manual (I assume Avant is the same) - get a Silver or Gold membership and you'll be able to download! On/Off (times x10) shows how many times the TV has been switched off to stand-by mode. The number is given in full tens. All other two-way functions are working such as volume and time programming. If I press SHIFT then STATUS it only seems to give/get the STATUS command, hence the screen simply displays the radio station or whatever. Yet the SHIFT button is working fine: SHIFT then RADIO gives A.Aux, for instance. May have to leave it for now - a new bathroom floor needs

Yes - I'm trying it with my BC9500 - and the remote is set to two way audio, plus the correct time is set. Software version of my remote is 2.2. Strange that it doesn't work!

Shift+Status doesn't bring up the clock on my Beolink 5000 (the control button version). Anyone have any ideas how to get the clock, or is the only way to access the Programming function? Regards Guy

In the recent film 'The Mechanic', there is definitely a Beo 4 used and I think that there is a B&O TV as well however I am not 100%. Also, in Friends, Pete's (Monica's billionare 'ultimate fighter' boyfriend) apartment has a BeoSound 9000.

I've got a spare brand new speaker driver with B&O part number 8480238 (additional numbers 6H432F). I can't find it in any of the service manuals and am trying to work out what it's for - possibly from one of the late MX models or AV9000. Anyone have any idea what model it's from? Guy

I had this problem connecting a PS3 to a BV3. The problem may be with the PS3, especially if you have been using it with an hdmi lead/output in the past.
