Hi thank you. Im a bit confused about the lettering? It looks to me like one pane of glass that goes over the LEDS of volume program etc. Is it just normal clear tempered glass that is sprayed on one side?? Sorry if im complicating it. Thanks again
-
Thanks I thought that might be the case. What about a good glazier cutting a new one?? Is it red glass or plain with a film? Andy

Hi have had a good look around and found these 3 wires the red, brown and orange wires are not connected to the inputs at the back around the tape 2 phono inputs. Could this be a reason for switching off?? Or is it a red herring?? Thanks Andy

Thank you yes I think the soundsmith cartridge is exactly what i want. dont mind the $49.95 but $35 for postage for a bit of plastic is a little excessive!! Andy

Many Thanks The motor and band that drives the arms across seems to work as I can forward and reverse the tonearm to the end of the record and back. I feel it may be bulb or photo resistor?? Is this bad??? Andy
