  • Re: Women on BeoWorld

Puncher: If you are not in fact pregnant I am willing to offer my services LOL You must be desperate, because actually, I'm dog-ugly.

ArgyleMoss: Hi joynsyde, By the look of your avatar i guess you are pregnant? How long you got to go? We are due our second any day now. Mark. Mark-- Yes, I let my girlish excitement get the best of me when I chose my avatar. We are due October 28, so we have about 3-1/2 more months! It's our first baby, and we aren't sure we're truly ready

  • Re: Do and Don't for beosound 1 please

Hi Simon, We have a BeoSound 1 in our master bedroom, and we love it. We set it to wake us up to the radio or a CD every morning, and it is wonderful to awaken to nice, full, high-quality sound in the morning instead of the ugly beeping of most alarm clocks. The only few things more I could ask of this delicious product would be that the clock would

  • Re: Women on BeoWorld

If it matters, I recently joined BeoWorld, and I'm quite sure I'm a woman! Being an audio engineer though, I'm accustomed to being one of the only females in the room (if not the only). Darn, now my cover is blown... Best to you all, Aj

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Bach: Keyboard Concerto #1 in D minor Played by Murray Perahia and Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Really well-recorded, an excellent performance, and stunning on my BeoSound 1! The only problem is the geeky picture on the front of the album.

  • Re: How to start my 'collection'?!

MachTzu: Hey I've decided to start my 'collection' and I'm looking for some advice before I go down to the B&O shop. At the moment I'm looking really just to get into the audio side of things but I have maybe a handful of CDs but thousands of MP3s. One piece of advice I was given was to just invest in BeoPort and a set of BeoLab

  • Re: Loosing my religion

mattyd: I hear what a lot of you are saying but I think you are missing the point of what Bang & Olufsen represent. If you where TRUE B&O fans, you would realise that its not just picture and sound quality (even though the BeoVision 9 beats any plasma panel out there for picture, build quality, and shear magical delight) but its how different

  • Re: Wednesdays (again)!

Puncher: andyp: Best start of a debate for ages! The Beastie's are influential due to bringing Rap / Hip Hop to the white market...marking the way for Eminem, then the following UK artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Just Jack et al... Andy But was this really progress???? LOL. I agree. Seems more like regress to me--intellectually, socially, melodically

  • Re: realistic life expectancy of a plasma panel ???

Yes, strong stuff, and I feel like there's a lot of emotion going on in this thread. Yet, all I've seen so far is speculation. 355f said the back of his BeoVision looks exactly the same as the back of his Panasonic, except there's no tuner. (That's not very exact.) And he implies that because a lot of AV companies buy components from
