PS - The remote pictured at the bottom of that page is clearly not a Beo 5

Bizzare! It's just an iPort like you've been able to buy for years, but they've chosen to stick it on the website. Mayve we should look out for Apple TV, Sony Blu-Ray player etc etc as well.

Any B&O dealer will get these for you. Find the nearest one using the store locator on www.bang-olufsen.com
I think B and O is paying attention to Apple. If not, why would they be coming out with the iPort, apparently working with Sonance, as mentioned in another thread here? Allows control of an iPhone or iPad with a Beo 4 through the puc as well as seeing the display on TVs.
They haven't really "come out"

What's with all the references to managing music with itunes? Beoconnect does exactly that and has been available for some time. I just converted my itunes library to Mp3 wo it plays on all my devices, and with beconnect nstalled I don't do anything but use itunes and the updates to music, playlist etc appear on BeoSound 5.

While pressing a button on the remote you should see the sender flash as it sends the IR. If not look into why there is no IR signal being sent. If it does

I like this forum. I think it can be a very useful technical resource for people, as well as a place for general B&O chat. However, a lot of people seem to be very quick to chirp in with technical advice who actually don't know what they are talking about, which ultimately wastes peoples times and undermines the value of the whole site.
