You think B&O is like Apple? I bet to differ. I don't see B&O taking bold moves and creating new markets like what Apple did or even offer the level of quality at the price level that Apple is offering. I think B&O is more like Microsoft than anything else. B&O is more of a product of careful marketing and calculation. It is more

I am saying that B&O shouldn't be doing price reductions but instead focus on how to make its products better. If B&O prices are lower than they have to B&O runs the risk of competing with mainstream brands. Look at Meridian, they seem to be doing okay despite the recession and have just recently acquired Sooloos. And why? Cos it offers

The 'feel' of it is too light and cheap, and the volume it's capable is odd! If you wanted to listen to classical music in a place with background noise, it would be frustrating. The BeoSound 2 is a B&o

Get this. It's affordable and very well known for its novel belt drive technology. http://www.cec-web.co.jp/products/cdplayer/tl51x/tl51x_e.html But why would you want to get a normal transport when you can get a hard disk server that is very close to displacing high end cd transports in the near future? Such as one of these. http://www.zerooneaudio

You think so? I believe in quality over quantity.

Well if you say so. I guess there's every single disk player out there is your kind of disk player.
