thank you all for your comments. I am allowed to have a lab 9 but my better half quite fancies the blue one! BTW how much are the covers and is it easy to replace yourself? thanks Vince
-
just wondering what colour members have for their lab 9! do the covers collect dust easily? thanks Vince

MKIV is due May 2009 3 main alterations, 100Hz, Blueray and AST module. I have been given a pretty good trade in price for MKII and discount for MKIII and free blueray upgrade when it is available, is it worth it or shall i wait until may? is there a significant difference between 50 and 100Hz and is AST a big deal? thanks

thanks for the info. I have a BC2 but wondering which one offers more cd music, mp3 BC2 or cd bs9000 as the bs5000 hasn't grown on me yet. THe other two is more 'fun' to play with and look at! thanks Vince
-
Silly question- can bs9000 play mp3 tracks burnt on a cd on the cd changer? thanks in advance Vince
-
a curious question probably off topic does your original software version that comes with MKII in sync with SKY HD box? It is completely out of sync with mine and i have gone back to the old HD box. My suspicion is more of the SKY box rather than BV7 itself? thanks Vince

what about 7-40 mkII if it is hd ready at 720p can it be retrofitted? some dealers think it is possible next year?

the orginal cd clamper does seem to clamp cd properly, the cd needs to be placed 'further up' in the cd holder to be clamped properly, otherwise cd won't play. this is replaced with a new one and this problem solved. howver, after storing the cd in bc2 for a few days on opening the machine the cd literally jumps out. this was replaced again

agree alex although I had another good listen the other day and found bl9 a little 'unbalanced', very clear sharp treble and mid range and bass a little unclear and muffled, i thinks bl2 is required. none the less for such size bl9 are very good speakers

Keith Saunders: Installations completed by B&O dealers vary a lot depending on several factors including:- How much you are spending on the products If the dealer contracts out some of the installation. If they have their own full time installation team Also, where the product installation requires building/decorating work where they project manage
