Ive got it all fine mechanically now, adjusted up the gears so they dont slip, new brakes and tyres. Also fixed the gear selector so the orange indicator moves when changing gear. I will be respraying it in its original colour and replacing the decals. This is a mk2, its the mk1's that are the really pricey ones. I have had a few odd looks on the

My plan was to remove the veneer from the front. I was thinking that a hair dryer to warm up the glue and a scalpel would remove it quite easily. I've seen plenty with peeling veneer and didn't think it would be to difficult, have I underestimated this?

Does any one have one of these tape players they dont need. It doesnt have to work. Basically I want the veneer strip along the front as the one one my otherwise mint BM6000 has a 1cm bit missing on the corner and this really lets it down. It can be as beaten up and non working as you like as long as the front veneer is good and complete. Thanks

Wow! That bottom picture could turn me to burglary if I ever found myself in Struer on a dark night. What a beautiful set up. Do those record players ever turn up?

On page 339 of From Vision to Legend there is a picture of a display from 1959. In it at the bottom right there is a lovely looking speaker on a tubular chrome stand. Does anyone know what it is? I am sure I have seen them pictured elsewhere but not on this site. Does any one have any more info on them. Martin, do they come in to your encyclopedic knowledge

Peter, I have emailed you a couple of manuals and brochures. Hope they are all ok to go on the site. Appologies for the dirty marks on my scanner, I kept wondering why therre where marks on the pages! Cleaned it up for the last one though. Richard

Chinese has been eaten so here is a picture of it. As said before, the previous and original owner told me he got it like this with no "giraffe" bit as seen in the picture from the brochure as he just wanted a normal mic stand.
