OK...for the menu, I use set up code 4, press play, then scroll to find vtape, press play, and then scroll to find CDV, press play. Then it asks if you accept the changes press play. Give it go and see! Guy

I use a non-B&O DVD player on my MX5000. To access it with my Beolink 1000 remote I first press SHIFT, and then press CD. Not at the same time. I have the dvd plugged into the rca input for the sound, and an s-video for the video. The s-video is self detecting on this tv. As for the lines...this is exactly what mine was doing on both VTAPE and DVD

I have my BL 2500s hooked up thru my MX5000 (NTSC) powerlink sockets. I have configured the TV for powerlink. The small green dots in the corner of the speakers always remains green, even if the TV is off for hours. Any thoughts? Thanks! Guy

Found time today to check the tweeter. It measures 14 ohms. This was my first time using a multimeter, I had the dial set to 200 ohms, and then used the black and red prongs. So I am guessing that that reading is normal? I proceeded to open the speaker up for a look see. Everything seems pretty clean and normal, except what I think is the transformer

So I picked up the 2500's today. I should learn that when the auction says "untested, but previous owner said they work" that they mean there is indeed a fault with them. Well one of them plays just fine, and the other one's output is quite low. Switched powerlink sockets to be sure, also switched cables to be extra sure. Any ideas

Well I had a similar situation, so...until I could afford a table stand, I used 2 thin panel finishing nails (at an upward angle) into my plaster wall. There are two very small rectangles on the upper back of the unit that you use to measure the width between the nails. I then used little silicone nubs on the back four corners to help with any vibrations
