  • Re: beolink passive

hi, this may be a stupd question, but ... why not connect the second beolink passive with master link ? if you want the speakers to be independant, i belive that they will need a master link connection. scott

  • Re: Link Options drive me nuts ;-)

hi, if you use the bp as an audio master you will lose the possibility to distribute the radio. i have a bc1 set up as audio master and distribute radio, n.radio, n.music, and cd (in the dvd player) with no problem. you need to set the bc1 as audio master (option 1). if you want to treat the bs3 and bp as link elements, then use option 6 for both of

  • Re: beo - mac - waf

ok, that's interesting. if i understand correctly, i need to define the itunes library on the imac as residing in the same place as the itunes library on the mac mini. to add new music, i would manually drop the folder into a directory on the imac and then tell itunes on the imac to add it to it's library. this action would also have for effect

  • bl3 side mount ?!

hi, i am planning to use bl3 as back speakers in a home cinema setup. unfortunately, i can not mount them on the back wall - it is covered by books ! so i am curious if i can 'sidemount' them on the side walls. they would be more or less at 90° to mount. or is this totally a stupid idea ? thanks again beoworld ! scott

  • Re: bv7-40 w.a.f. situation

hi, very nice ! two quick questions. what you turn it, what exactly moves, does the whole circular shiny metal move ? how much clearance exactly for something sitting on the stand itself ? i'm looking to put a bl3 on the stand right in front of the tv, will anything bump ? thanks. i look forward to your photo with the bl9 ... scott

  • Re: bv7-40 w.a.f. situation

hello again, i have read elsewhere of using a single bl3 as a center speaker. this seems an interesting solution as the bl3 is 'shorter' than the bl7.4, it even seems to just fit under the bv7-40 on a tablestand. i have never seen the bv7-40 on a motorized tablestand (and yes, i plan to go to my dealer next week). can someone with the tablestand
