Hi everyone, Yes, virtually any active sub can be run from a Powerlink output using a Powerlink to RCA cable. If you have a choice of Line In and "LFE" inputs on the sub, just use the Line in, as the LFE inputs usually bypass the sub's internal crossover (this is a bad thing, as the Powerlink outputs on most B&O systems are full frequency

Hi riis, Sorry to hear your bad news If you decide to keep the Penta 1's, please don't worry in terms of connections, I can sort out some Powerlink to Speakerlink convertors if you want to use them with a newer audio system or TV with Powerlink sockets - that gives you all the same connection options as the mk.2 and mk.3 versions. Kind regards
Final question - do you know anyone who sells this cable? I've tried, but not succeeded! I found one online shop, but it seems to be broken ( http://www.giftsaver.co.uk/acatalog/masterlink.html ) Thanks!
Hi csmager, yes I can help you with this cable! As the Powerlink outputs are volume-controlled, you will probably find that you need to turn the Sony volume fairly high (eg. 50-75%) to get the surround speakers to match the internal

Hi, many thanks to those who have contacted me regarding the MCL2AV - I've now got everything sorted out! Wishing you all a good weekend from snowy Leicestershire, Steve.

My wife complains that I never take her out, maybe this will help - two tickets booked! See you all at the party! Steve. PS. Happy New Year everyone!

Hi, does anyone have one of the old MCL2AV ( http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=978 ) Master Control Link boxes with Powerlink outputs that they are willing to sell please? (I'm fed up of walking back to my Beomaster 6500 in the other room to adjust the volume!) Cash/PayPal available, I'm also happy to pay shipping costs, etc. Kind

Hi, thanks for the mention! No problem, please feel free to get in touch via my sponsor link below and I can sort out a pre-amp with a wiring loom to transmit Datalink (including cross-over links, as the BM7000 and RX2 have slightly different Datalink wiring). Just to confirm that the comments above are correct: Beogram RX does not have a pre-amp built

Hi Stan, Yes the skinny mk.3 cables are still available, but they may not always be the best solution.... Personally, I no longer stock the thinner (2.5mm diameter) mk.3 cables, as the conductors inside are too thin for good sound quality and reliability in my opinion. Obviously, if the priority is being able to hide the wiring, then your B&O dealer
