Dude1: Bang always denied that this was an issue, but in reality i saw a lot of this issue. Problem is that the Philips mech gets too hot - this si generally related to one of the IC's getting too hot. Some clever repair agents managed to intriduce large heat sinks to manage the issue. I am sure someone on the forum knows a clever reapir agent close

I did it but was unable to start up the original power supply PCB from the Avant. That's why I made my own +/-20V power supply which is switched on and off by a MOSfet (low current drain) and some other components. Keith Saunders: There was also a shield introduced and the changing of two components because of mains noise from the bridge-rectifier which was reflected into the low frequency circuit Unless you are a technical person with some knowledge in this area, you will most likely have to get a B&O dealer to resolve this latter issue if that is your problem
