Well, i'm a bit unclear which coil you're referring to but anyway: i think this tv has an Avant chassis. I also think you're not annoyed by the 15KHz noise as any crt tv has this 'whistle' but weak and high so barely/not audible for the 'grown-up' ear, but sometimes one of the linearity coils or deflection coil or HT transformer

OK, er zitten aan beide uiteindes van het 'touwtje' veertjes. Dus 2 in totaal, beide zijn volgens mij identiek en het touwtje met lusje is door beide veertjes heen gevoerd maar hiervan ontgaat me de zinnigheid behalve als 'stopper' voor de veer, de maximale 'uitrek' dus. Als je touwtje nog goed is dan zouden dus beide uiteinden

In any case what's for sale is than still stock i guess, but for sure there's still a need for tubes on this planet as the vast majority still uses crt tv's (out of western Europe/VS). Anyway, indeed the prices B&O charges for tubes is beyond any sense of

Indeed: in short: have the tube face the floor, make the heater glow at about double the normal voltage and tapping, but it does need some care etc because it is easy to mess up and destroy things (in other words if the tube is 'lost' already it's ok to try but one has to be carefull also for your own safety). Found the answer: in option 2 it doesn't show since it's supposed to be set in option 1 and 3 and i guess therefore not visible :).
