Hi, I wonder whether anyone can help. I've just replaced an Overture with a Beocenter 2 in my setup which I option programmed to A.Opt 0 and V.Opt 0 on the basis that it is in the same room as my main system (Beosystem 3 with a couple of Beolab 8000s, 2 6000s and beolab 2, a Beomedia 1).I believe I have close to the latest Beosystem 3 software as

Beovision 4 is a plasma panel - not a TV, so doesn't have the features you would have on a Beovision TV (like stand adjustment). You basically nail the screen to the wall (or use a panasonic table stand) and it is static unless you get some kind of third-party mounting bracket that is motorised. I don't know of one that can be controlled directly

I used both Beosystem 2 versions 1 and 2 with no problem with Beomedia 1 through the VGA input and allocated that to the PC button on the Beo4 remote - and I can't think why anything would be different with version 3 of Beosystem 2. Note that this only works for the screen connected to the Beosystem 2 - not for linked TVs.

I get this occasionally - use the apple remote to ensure the appleTV is sending something after powering the Beosystem 3 down for 30 seconds - then on again. I think there is some issue in recognising the HDMI signal.

I've used one with a beomedia 1 and it is fine - connects via the VGA in port and 3.5mm to phono.

Hi, Has anyone got a firmware for this hardware that supports the serial port ( codeset 732)? Unfortunately Lintronic aren't supporting v4 hardware any more and it would be a waste otherwise. I plan to convert the output of the serial port from a Beosystem 2 to support the LG serial protocol. Regards Nigel PS Currently I'm using the following

You need a DVI or HDMI board for the BV4. You need to ensure that the DVI board is appropriate for the Panasonic plasma panel version. B&O will probably need to update the software in the panel - you probably won't be able to activate the board without taking off the bezel otherwise.

In answer to your question, use GO and 7 - this is equivalent to the SKY key on the Sky remote control and will switch on the box.

The Amstrad can be controlled with the Sky+ commands - they seem to work better than the Thomson Sky+ HD commands.

Thanks - I didn't explain myself well - I'm getting 5v across pin 6 (5v) and pin 2 (0v). Is there a maximum length of cable for this eye? The total cable length is 10m - 5m of B&O cable and 5m of cat5.
