I presently have the sd freeview built into my BV 7 Mk III. The interface is slow and sometimes take an age to populate with the programs. Will this upgrade enable me to receive freesat or indeed freeview hd when it is broadcasted in the future?

Guys and Gals i am in the market for a freesat HD recorder and wondered if anybody has any good recommendations which can be controlled by the Beo 5. I have looked at the humax one but i am sure there are other ones to be had. This will link up to a BV 7 40 inch MkIII. I already have a sat dish from my previous sky box which is still in place. The TV only excepts infrared commands and the PS3 does not, so the bluewave converts the infrared commands sent down the wire into a format that the PS3 understands.

I currently use the Nyco Bluewave with my PS3 and its works fine with the Beo 5 and the Beo 4 as the PUC is already available. The only negative is that you have to press the Sony controller to turn it on but all other functions are performed flawlessly. Its just a little USB stick that occupies 1 of the USB ports on the front of the PS3. I would recommend
