Beofan2: No the name is BeoSound 5, we were told by TBS friday at the general meeting. Well, BeoMedia 5 was just a play with words. The name doesn't really matter. What matters is if this new product will be a development of the BeoMedia 1 or the BeoSound 5. Roger hinted at the former possibility. /M

There's no reason that this couldn't be a controller and AV management box that processed and stored the incoming AV content and then enabled you to distribute through your house. However....I

Roger: To be fair to the old site: The original concept of this product (aka AV1 / BeoCenter 5 / BeoSound 5) was dropped when the management told them to merge the BeoMedia 1 with a "conventional" audio product. They plan on releasing it in March next year. I still find it stunning, but I do belive that they should have done more with the

It is not as bad as it sounds, but when the grease spreads evenly on the screen, the fingerprint do not show anymore - and no, the remote does not look like it is covered in grease...
