I would like to get the review of Serene too, mainly on the signal reception ability. I have one phone of Samsung, D520/D528, the voice quality and the signal reception ability is horrible. Shall Serene make a big difference?

i guess beolab 4000 is perfect choice for your need. but you have to custom-made a wire to connect to mini-jack of computer. but on the other hand, you have to make sure your files in computer have good sound quality. I am sure any b&o speakers will magnify the bad quality sound of low bitrates.
