No, you need an audiomaster. iPod connects to audiomaster and audiomaster connects to BL 2000. If audiomaster don't have ML but MCL you'll need the converter.

Have you changed the display settings in the MBP? It could be that your Mac is sending a picture with a too high resolution for the TV. First step is to change the settings in MBP so the TV is not set as an extra display. It shall show the same picture as the MBP (called mirror?) My MacMini hasn't arrived yet. I was just about to order the second newest one (the last with DVD player). But my friend on visit from the States told me he has one 4 year old MacMini not in use any more. He will ship it to me when he's back home again. So I wait for that one, and since I guess it also has an analogue output I don't need

But that's a "Composite to Scart adapter". If the TV has scart AND Composite input, then there's no need for an adapter.
