Thank you guys for your reply. It sounds that i should go for the lab9 instead of the lab 5. Maybe my room-size is to small for the lab5:s. Is there a large improvement with lab9 vs lab1? (Bass, midrange, treble)

Ceiling height: 2,6 meter I will sit 3,3 meter from the speakers. There will be 3 meter between the speakers. There is 1 meter between the speakers and the left and right wall.

What about Dolby True HD, will that be converted to Dolby Digital just as the DTS-MA will be DTS? /Martin

Hi guys, I have today Beolab 1 and Beolab 2 (and a Beovision 7-40 markIII). My room is 3,5m x 5 m. 1. Is this room too small for BEOLAB 5? 2. I use my speakers today mostly for movies (about 80% of the time) and 20% for listening of music. Will beolab 5 give the same feeling when looking at movies as the combo labs 1+2? The decoding of the HD-codecs, such as Dolby True HD and DTS-HD will be done in the player (not in the Beosystem 3). That means that the player will send the decoded sound as digital Multichannel PCM-stream to Beosystem 3. /Martin

Hi, I have just upgraded my BV7-40 Mark III with software 5.08. The new menues is very nice. Looks much more cool than the old gray ones. Does anybody experienced any new bugs with the software? We dont have to argue anymore about the sound-quality with HD-audio in beosystem 3. But the intrerest thing is that 355f will not explane HOW he has done his tests (in detail) to get his conclusion that BS3 not fully support HD-audio with decoded PCM-sound (from a bluray-player). He just says that BS3 DOES NOT support it. So why can you (355f) not tell
