Yes Mathias, as Chr said, the amp can be disconnected from the bottom. The speaker column actually sits on top of the amp section, and 5 long threaded rods go through the base, amp, and speaker to hold the sections together. If you unscrew the 5 nuts underneath, you can slide the pieces apart. You'd then need to get some shorter threaded rods and

I agree, it sounds like a problem with the mute as Martin said. The mute is supposed mute the output of the turntable during the touchdown of the needle, so you don't hear the touchdown and instead just the start of the music. Hey guys, thought you might like this for those who haven't seen it. There's a strip of little blocks for each commercial. The B&O system is in the 2nd one. Hmm, I just tried mine again and there's no difference regardless of whether I have the cd4 switched on or not. I suppose either it's faulty or I have one of the empty ones. Thing is, when I picked it up from the seller, he still had the 4-channel RCA adapter plug on. I guess I'll have to open it up when I get a chance and look inside. Austin

Jandyt: You're not on your own Dave, I have at trouble logging on and off over the past week, I thought it was my PC or my provider. Andy, did you just call me Dave? Maybe logging on and off haven't been your only issues this week...

9 LEE: britops: Robert: "Westlander" has rated every thread on the first page of the general forum 1 star out of 5, not sure if it's intentional, Freedom of expression ! I give this topic 1 star. The forum has been very one star lately. Members make the forum - so instead of complaining, make it 5 star. Lee Lee I see your point, but at

What jerk rated this thread 3 out of 5 stars lol? edit: I just noticed it was rated twice, so apparently someone gave it a one star and someone else gave it 5 stars. Can moderators see who the one-star culprit is?
