thanks for the reply. I did check the hard disk for disk errors, no errors found. I'm a computer consultant (love more unix than Gates his stufff...) So I know how to check disk and so on. HI, I'm using a beomedia1 for some time without major problems...till last week. Now the system crashes but only when I play netmusic and look at the same time at photo's. When it plays only music it does not crash. (it can run for days...) Because I installed a lot of other stuff for viewing film etc i thought maybe the system is getting unstable

There is a connector called "cinema". The ref guide says "for connection to home automation systems" It is a DB9 connector just near the monitor RS232 So my guess is it's a RS232 or RS485 bus I supose this can be used to communicate but i can not find any description of it .... nico

Hi, I have a BV9 and want to connect the BS 3 to a home automation system. I can interface with RS232 to this system, so i'm looking for a device which can accept commands via RS232 and convert it to the ML cable. The goal is also to receive information form the system in which status it is I can use the lintronic box, but there is no ML cable connection

Hi, does the display work always ? I have a BS3 with 2 pentas hooked up as front speaker and the display works sometimes ... When I power-on they does not display anything but changing for example a channel (in TV mode) or changing sound level can activate the display. Dealer told me the Penta display is not really supported anymore. 4.17 or 4.24 has

yep both are configured as set top box. everything works, only the menu button does not very strange .... The service guy phoned B&O support, and they told him to install the scart cable, but it did not solve the problem. nico

BS3 was upgraded to 4.24 yesterday. I have a telenet cable STB, works OK, but I cannot see the menu thing when you press on the menu button on the remote I have the idea the menu button works as the GO button, if I type for example "menu 1" I got the same result for STB as " GO 1". heb net dezelfde vraag .. Je kan er wel een usb disk op aansluiten, die wordt perfect gezien door het OS, maar ik heb nog niet gevonden hoe je de BO software kan vertellen dat er muziek en photo's te vinden zijn op die disk. Ik denk eraan de disk van 250 te vervangen door een groter exemplaar. ik heb de vraag ook nog ees gestuurd naar BéO
