I have a Beomaster 7000 in daily use. As I write this, I have no less than five B&O remotes on my desk, a BL1000, BL5000, BL7000, MCP5500 and a Beo4. My thoughts / experiences on those: BL1000: easy and reliable but feels a bit too simple with an advanced amp such as the BM7000. Mine is of the type where the track up/down -buttons are above the

My Penas had new caps and the update Martin mentioned. Both of the speakers have a faint buzz when they are on. The distance to the listening place is about 2m and I can hear the buzz there (very faint and easily lost in music but still) - is this normal or is there still something funny going on? The cables I got with the speakers, they are self-made

This is one of the sliders in my BM3000 when I took it apart just a few days ago. I had "cleaned" it once before by spraying contact cleaner into the slider but here you can see clearly that the slider should be opened and cleaned properly! This is the same slider after some cleaning: And yes, it does sound much better now...

Best of luck to everybody! Can't join the fun (work tomorrow and have to sleep!) but will be reading this thread tomorrow with great interest (and hoping for some nice prizes, of course!)
Hi Ville, Is your last item a Dutch record? Have a single in my collection, is that rare? Even saw a book on Ebay US for a huge price, is that fair, I mean rare?
Nice cd-holder, by the way, I've got one, too. I have seen that book sometimes in eBay, is it of any interest? Now as you posted, I do have that

I have been trying to collect those B&O demo CD's. The one with the aluminium cover is the Vol. XIII ("The Sound Of Perfection") of the Active Listening -series so at least eight of those. The cover is SO cool! I have also the Vol. II (and perhaps one or two more, can't find them right now) in which the cd itself has a typo, it
I think I'll have a look at the Beocord in the meantime. It has a stuck cassette in it. Maybe a belt too?
Almost surely. If you open it up and turn the mechanism by hand you should be able to free the tape. Don't try to force the tape out, it will just bend the tape guides and make it a lot worse

I tried again. The SUNRISE -thing works but I can't make it not to bling. I would like to have it only to make the sunrise effect, no sound.

I bought my BeoTime about a year ago. Surprised that the functions were there all the time but needed to be activated. Wonder if there's some more... ? Anyway, I don't have a MLGW, but the timed alarm with light does work. Just BeoTime + B&O-IR compatible dimmer. I have been trying the SUNRISE function but can't seem to figure it out

WOW! This is great! I just enabled the MLGW on my Beotime. Now I can have an alarm (with the bling-sound) and it turns my lights on! I have one of those B&O -compatible Innovus dimmers connected to a bedside-lamp. Didn't try the sunrise -option yet but that sounds even better, just what I have hoped for.
