Hi Tom, more likely that the cable has stretched over time. Common on older overtures and can be tightened. Think it tells you how to in the service manual. Jonnie

Buy two good quality microfibre cloths and mark one as dry. Wet the other with warm water and wring out as much water as possible. Wipe the cold screen and imediately dry off with the dry cloth, perfect result and no detergents to damege the reflex coating!

Yorkshire is great mate but always bloody raining!! Just 10 mins from Leeds which is a great city now with some great shops and resteraunts. I have an Omega Seamaster GMT and love it to bits, I think value for money wise Omega is a superb choice. Love Paul Smith myself and Prada shirts a superb fit if a little expensive . I could not believe the size of the box, I expected something twice the size. Shame it doesn't come in white though!!
