Hi Mike, Did this ever work or is the Avant new to you? Either way make sure the scart lead from the VCR to the correct scart socket higher up the back of the Avant is pushed in securely. Steve

Hi, I trust you have tried cleaning the CD lense? The real problem is more likely a capacitor. Do a search on the forum for 'C2103' and you'll find lots of imformation. It has to be a particular brand of capacitor and best obtained by sending a PM to our member 'Dillen'. Don't ask him via the forum as he's unlikely to get
