This one has been repaired several times. It has now failed again and it is at the stage where it is more down than up! It is time to replace it!
At the moment I'm refurbishing my Penta II's (what else do I do ) and will finish this project tomorrow. One display has failed, that's why I bought it. But there's hope since I remember after the purchase I already had one in my "closet" . Have to test it first and if ok we can do business Will

Leslie, I am disabled and retired from work. I am watching eBay.co.uk more than 18 hours a day so I miss very little of interest. That display or one very similar has been on before. I saw that display this time but I didn't need one at the time. I do now! PM me if you want to sell it.
Egoh's had a good go at it . I wonder if anyone's painted them with bright colours, furthering their Mondrian-esque design.
The Egoh finished articles look about right. The originals look to have been polished, presumerably by a previous owner, hence the partially missing logo.

I have to disagree Chris! They are not "bog standard polished stainless steel", they are a specific finish, the name of which escapes me at this moment. A number of people have attampted to reproduce the panels, over the years, none with any success. They have been made out of the aforementioned "bspss"material and they look terrible

I require a complete working display module for a Beolab Penta II Any one help out? Perhaps you are scrapping a pair of Penta II and have the displays available? Will pay!!!!

My initial reaction when I saw this was "It's a con"! I would need an awful lot of convincing otherwise.

What ever they are they are not Beolab 4500 as they would have green displays. However you will need the Mk2 powerlink cables to make the displays work. Since you are connecting 2 pairs of speakers you would be best to connect one of the powerlink sockets in the BC9500 to a Beolab 4500(?) and from there to the other Beolab 4500(?). Use the Mk3 cables

I agree 100% Martin. I have the same problem much of the time. Very frustrating.

@Jacques, Any progress?
I'm still waiting for the new cart to arrive. Thanks for checking Graham, with one seriously warped record, I noticed the same thing... I was fast enough to stop everything before the disaster! Anyway, the angle of the stylus is odd, and it doesn't
