  • Re: A8s - are they easy to repair?

In the Serenata thread Alex mentioned this: " You have to get new A8s with the modified plug so the fit." This was in reference to the plug not fitting in the recessed headphone port of the iPhone.. My current A8s have a plug that's too big to fit. Have the A8s been updated since 2002 when I bought my pair? If so, do they have an updated

Yeah I was wondering that. I do hate having to buy afresh when all that's wrong is a loose connection though. There's nothing wrong with the earphones themselves. I'll see what my dealer says

  • A8s - are they easy to repair?

My A8s must have been listening. While I extolled their virtues in the Serenata thread, they decided to break on me. A wire has come loose from the plug meaning I'm only getting sound from one ear. They've served me faithfully for nearly five years. I'm going to take them into my dealer tomorrow. Can they be repaired easily?

  • Re: BeoWorld Presents... Serenata!

Alex: The A8s dont fit in the iPhone. You have to get new A8s with the modified plug so the fit. I rather get an earset 3, it has the control button and a microphne. A8s wont do you much if you want to make a phone call. The A8s will fit the iPhone if you wittle away a little bit of the plastic around the plug. The A8s will also be fine for making calls

  • Re: BeoWorld Presents... Serenata!

Hi Peter Some good points regarding the price there, but I should point out that the iPhone will be £269 in the UK, rather than £400. I already have my A8s that I'll be using with my iPhone so that's my earphones sorted out. My current Orange contract costs me about £25 a month so moving to a £35 O2 contract with free

  • Re: UK retailers to kill off analogue TV sales in months

soundproof: Bingo: I don't know. I do not live in the UK. InFrance the problem for B&O even becomes bigger. There must be anMPEG4 tuner build in from 2008 in any new television :-). So how wilB&O will solve this problem?? I guess by building one into its TV sets from 2008 onwards? Zing!

  • Re: Beo 5 Countdown- who get the first one...?

jandyt: The final price I paid was £375 for the Beo5 PLUS £55 for the flippin' charger! Andy T. Here's another polite way of swearing: WTF! Since I'm guessing you can't charge it without the charger they shouldn't mislead by charging for them separately. £430 really is a lot of money and it's off my 'want'

  • Re: Today I got my Beo 5!

Peter: From what I have seen, the system is a little idiosyncratic as it doesn't like some combinations. There's a shock
