The BS9000 will stay in the product line for now, in some regions this is a very important (and sold) product, especially Russia I think. Not many are sold in Denmark anymore.

I was told that it is planned from B&O to support streaming media services, as a lot of customers use this kind. Going to be interesting how B&O will integrate this.

Some quick from my dealer, beside the 3D and HDMI 1.4, the 7-55 will also get a new panel, going from 32 to 64 backlight zones, and a lot more diodes. No comment about DTS-MA, therefore this is probably a "no". And a price increase for 7-55 by the way. 4-50 and 4-65 will be discontinued however.

Thanks a lot for the post Peter, it is always nice to hear from the people designing the sounds of a speaker, and with what idea they "design" the sound. Sometimes I think it could be great if B&O more in detail could explain how they have tried to set up the speakers in relation to the sound, i.e. what idea is behind the sound of i.e

Hmm, I just came to think about it, the limitation lies in the HDMI, if the sound input to the BS3 was SPDIF, would you then still need additional cables in order to distribute the sound in the link?

It is a shame that HDMI can't send via link or that B&O internally in the BS3 can not downscale HDMI. I am using analog signal (video+sound) for 3 HDMI sources (DTV, BM5 and Tvix). Its a struggle to get all those cables stored away in the rear of the BV7 :-)

I'm a bit curious. Why do you have RCA cables from your devices to the BS3?? And how come you have both a Mac Mini and an Apple TV??
AFAIK, BS3 can not distribute the sound from the digital signal (HDMI) from the four sources (CableTV, PS3, AppleTV and MiniMac) through MasterLink
As for the differences between DACs in the B&O range, it's difficult to say unless you line them all up with the same pair of speakers in the same location. I personally heard BeoLab 3s with the most number of systems, and to me they were always best with the BeoSound 4 (a combination which I thought sounded absolutely
