  • Re: Beogram 7000 any other stylus possible besides MMC1-5

I got a MMC2 from www.schallplattennadeln.de , ordered on monday, recieved it the next day. Sounds Superb and everything went supersmooth, highly recommended shop for everything stylus :-) I was asking because I want to experiment a little bit regarding different sounding stylus setups (e.g. I want to test some of the Grado stylus) But it seems I need

  • Beogram 7000 any other stylus possible besides MMC1-5

I finally finished my Beosystem 7000 project with an almost perfect Beogram 7000 record deck and need some help from the Beoworld professionals: Is there any chance that a Beogram 7000 can operate with another stylus besides the known MMC 1 to 5 ? Is there any adapter or something like this? Thanks for your help Stephan

  • Re: Ripping formats for Beosound5

Soren, wait for the Beosound 5 encore, that will support iTunes related file formats (so they say...) and can access your lib directly. If you are into lossless, you prob. need more than that 500GB space on your media storage, so the "old" BS5 is outdated anyway, as its not upgradeable by default. Sidenote: Ffoobar2000 is Windows only, don't

  • Re: Question about the calibration-process for Beolab 5

@Tom : OK, easy... Go to iTunes and download the track "Mombasa" from Robert Manos from the Angel Road album. Get the volume up to 75, disconnect the Lab 2 and get the track started... Now several things can happen: - Your house has no windows anymore ... your Lab5's work as they should - You don't feel why I told you to play that

  • Re: Question about the calibration-process for Beolab 5

If you think about the principle how this calibration thing works, you get the hint of how to influence the values during the calibration. I had the same problem with my 5's but after some help from the forum and some experiments its perfect now. I have the 5's in a mid sized room and calibrated with all the furniture in it... result bass is

  • Question regarding Mac Mini (HDMI) and Beovision 7

Hi, I have a question regarding the Mac Mini and Beovision 7. I've attached the Mini via HDMI to my BV7 to stream Music directly out of the iTunes library to the TV and the attached speakers. Is there any chance that I can listen to the music without the screen being turned on? If I sleep the display in OSX, the music stops just like turning the
