Yes it can be controlled by the Beo5, BUT you need an NYKO Bluwave remote controller (I think templates for another controller are also available), then you need to use the provided template available on this forum to allow the Beo5 to speak to the NYKO USB dongle. To be honest if you have BV7 mk3 , are not really into the PS3 games, and can wait till

Given the two part design, surely a future BeoSound 5 Mk2 could incorporate this with a revision to the BeoMaster 5 box?

Sounds like an imac in each room connected wirelessly to a timemachine harddisk with an itunes library would do the business for a lot of beosound 5 detractors...

I cannot see price reductions getting to the consumer. I think it will result in a little extra margin to the retailers. B&O have been absorbing the differential between the euro and sterling and a 2.5% reduction is highly unlikely to stimulate much extra growth in sales, although I suspect those buyers already in process may seek a discount. KingOfSnake: BS9000 is a great product - this should be updated with a Blu-Ray/DVD drive and DAB Radio to make a 'killer' product for B&O - the design is timeless, enduring appeal has been proved......... Totally agree about this, and while they are at it they should add a SD slot as well. Some simple updates to this product would extend

I agree. The omission of FM or DAB detracts from the utility of the BS5.
