Dave Moulton: Thanks for the heads-up. It was pretty entertaining and gratifying. Thought you would enjoy it.
-
beocool: All the information about the Beolab 5's supplied by David Moulton and Soundproof has made me appreciate these fantastic speakers even more. Me too. I even considered changing my saving for a BV4 to a pair of BL5.

Hi Dave! Just wanted to let you know the never ending topic News 2008 / 2009 has turned into an advanced discussion about BeoLab 5.
-
Ask your dealer to make the DVD player in BV7 region free.
-
Jandyt: I wish I could read Danish! It's German, not Danish.
-
Alex: You could always stick a pair of BeoLab 5s in there - pincode protected Perfect! The only hatch (except the pricetag) is that my neighbours wouldn't be too happy about it.
-
Christian: With glass doors and a roof, I would not worry much about the speakers. No, I wouldn't be afraid of using BeoLabs there. The main reason for me not to use active speakers is the risk that someone will take them.
-
ChrDH: Daniel: How about a nice pair of CX50 or CX100? I'm planning to have this in my veranda. Hi Daniel Arent you affraid the drives will become damaged by damp/rain ect?? br Chr No, I have glass doors and a roof at the veranda. Even if the veranda isn't 100% enclosed I think they will be OK. Will of course only have them there during summertime
