The cardridges are not designed to have replaceable styli, so the MMC6000 is effectively useless as it would cost more to have it rebuilt than replaced. I think you will find the information you re looking for by going to the reference section of Beocentral.com and then choosing accessories. Simon

David I think something is getting forgotten here. It's about enjoying the music. If the Beolab 5 sounds better to you, and you prefer it to other speakers then it is a better speaker for you. I was also lucky enough to get a knock on the door two weeks ago. Gordon from the B&O store in Swindon had arranged for a friend of his called Barry to drop off a parcel... Nick Welcome to the forum, it's a great place to be. Having recently acquired a Beocom 2 in the Beoworld prize draw for Gold members, I think I know what your problem is! You need to go into the handset option in the phone settings and change the handset type from personal to common. Simon

I am not sure the post was the problem, it was the title! The implication in the title that B&O are never honest has upset a few people including me. I do think B&O are far more honest than manufacturers such as BOSE that have a kind of 'smoke and mirrors' approach to getting people to part with their money. B&O kit is unashamedly

Toby B&O have not manufactured cartridges themselves for several years. The small stocks that some suppliers have of original cartridges are now for sale at silly prices. I am not sure how many they are actually selling at $449 dollars each though! Soundsmith have a licence to make compatible cartridges and by all accounts they are excellent, but
