As Peter says, it depends to a large extent on what amp you use them with (some are better than others!). I really like my MC120.2s that I use with a BM 6000 Quad, and am in love with my Beovox Pentas that I use with a BM 8000. I even have a Cona hooked up to the the Speaker 2 outlet on my 8000 for a bass boost when I feel like rattling my windows!

He was selling that system two and a half years ago when I bought my Pentas from him! It was in good condition if I remember correctly though, with four P50s the Beogram 6000, and a couple of MMC6000s. Not sure this is the 'cheap' route to BM6000 ownership though as he wanted top dollar for what is/is, to be fair, a top dollar looking system

I hope you find a good one. Despite what people say I really think this is a sweet sounding amp with the right sources and speakers. I use mine (serviced by Tim) with some MC120.2s and produces really good results. When I had to downscale my collection I was more than prepared to sell my Beosystem 5000 and an 80s Beomaster 6000 before the 6000 Quad

Looking forward to this one Martin! As the owner of one of the stars of a previous restoration thread, I can vouch for how entertaining they are! What is the 'FONA' badge in the middle of the bottom of the fascia for, BTW??

Just to add my two penneth to this discussion: The foam in your MC120.2s looks exactly the same as the foam I found inside my speakers when I opened them up. The shapes, colour and texture look exactly the same. I wonder if B&O changed the specs at some point in the production run though, as Andy seems to have something a bit different in his. Those

Can I get in on this too?? I'm back at Med School in six weeks and wondered if anyone had a spare B&O stethoscope knocking around that I could have for beans? Failing that, would anyone consider a straight swap with a Serenata for a lightly used Nokia 8210? Ta. John

Hi Steve Welcome to the forum. You really should post the sale ads in the Private Sales forum - I'm sure a mod will move this for you if appropriate. The Beogram CD3300 is by far the most vaulable and sought after of your three items. The Beocenter and the X25s are not the most highly regarded of B&O's products, and you'll be lucky to
