BV8 = Entry level BV10 = Middle BV7 = High end BV10 is rumoured to look reeeeeeeeeally nice.

The specs are not out, but what we've heard is that the BV10 will be built on the same platform as the BV8. So no internal BS3, but not need for an external one either. P.

Lintronic has done something similar, it connected the lintronic box's IR connector to a pin of the 1611 converter and he is able to trigger actions based on commands passed on the ML. But the MCL/Datalink protocol is older than the ML protocol, and I do not think you could get all the new Beo5 codes. That said if you want to trigger only a few

I think the ML Gateway is the way to go. It is really expensive though, £1800.00 in the UK.

Yes, you can listen or view a video source in a link room that is different from the one played in the main room. Regading the Apple TV, some people have had problems to distribute the picture to link rooms, as Beo TVs cannot distribute HD.

Good luck! It is good as you could control almost every device, that is not in the STB-C, even from a link rook. It could even work for older TV that do not have an STB-C. I suggest you do not over complicate it with these IR relays, as I do not see what it could be used for.

That's great!, don't forget long/repeat IR codes... Why do you want to relay the IR to the Beoport?
