Simon, Sorry I missed your posting and you had to prompt me. Let me take the easy bits first -- The " Last TV error 0406 22-2A " is nothing to do with your problem and is a Teletext error caused either by a poor analogue signal or you don't have an analogue aerial plugged in. The other errors of Clock comm failure and the TD error make

The point I was trying to make in my first response, but I did it rather badly was if a tape becomes jammed it does often appear that the VCR is dead as if the power supply was not working, hence why I made the comment I did. It really depends at what point it jams, if indeed that is what happened. Other possible causes include loose connections with

I agree with Moxxey, whilst there are on-going issues with the Beovision 7-40, you problems seem very different. I have noted from your most recent posting that you are satified that the IR blaster is correctly sited on the Sky box and you appear to be saying that everything is working with the Beo4. Please confirm if this is the case ? If you have

If you have other Beocom 6000's connected to the same base and they work fine, then it will almost certainly that a fault has occured on the handset PCB. However, I would suggest that your next step should be to do a handset reset To reset a Mark I Beocom 6000 press DOT 70009 it will ask you to confirm OK press centre button and phone will reset

Peter, First of all, a very warm welcome to Beoworld and I am sure we can assist in resolving your issues. Let me start by making a few points which may provide you with confidence in your purchase related to the Beo5 and your Beovision 7. The Beo5 in terms of concept and hardware design is very good in my view, but there are areas related to the software

The carrier frequency has nothing to do with country. Many vendors re-badge OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products as there own, so it is likely that your Sony projector was made by someone else and if true means they would NOT have used the Sony remote protocol and may have used the fairly standard NEC protocol. Does the Projector remote control

Graham, Whilst I do not recall the history of your AVANT issue, there were issues with tapes not ejecting correctly. You did not say exactly how far the tape had got in the ejection process, but there were intermittent jamming of cassettes during eject for which B&O produced a fix. The problem was the jamming of certain types of cassettes in the

The beo5 "Repeat" function has some flaws which I will provide a basic overview below:- The RC5 repeat function works correctly by toggling bit 3 for every repeat signal sent. The NEC protocol repeat function still does not work correctly because the repeat signal START bit should have a SPACE period of half the length (i.e. 2.25 milli seconds

Paul, This error code comes from IC1 on module 7 which is the Teletext decoder. The fact you are getting this error code almost certainly means you are not using the analogue signal and using a STB instead or the analogue signal is of poor quality.

For those members who wish to control Apple TV exactly the same way as the Apple remote and have a Beo5 may wish to consider controlling the Apple TV directly from the Beo5.
