The Mk 3 were developed with more shielding to prevent hum which was occuring on speakers with ICEpower amplifiers. So models such as BL 3 and BL1 were supplied with Mk3 powerlinks. With BL8000 you can use Mk1 or 3 as the fancy takes you. There will be no difference.

I am in the process of doing a full refurbishment of a Beogram 6000/4 Type number 5502 The deck is currently fitted with a MMC20s which of course is black and does not match the arm. I am therefore in need of an MMC4000 or preferably a MMC6000 body with a broken cantilever or similar. I could then send it to Axel and have it rebuilt for use in my Beogram
