The lamp kit comes with detailed (dis-/)assembly instructions. If you can solder and handle other basic electronic tools, you can easily do it. Martin

The Beogram 8000 series has a tiny hole at the bottom of the brass part where a tiny screwdriver or similar can be inserted to push the insert upwards. I don't know if the Beogram 4000 has the same. Martin

Grind off the remains of the clips. Glue on screws with cylindrical heads of apprx 2.5mm height to the backside of the panel (where the clips sat), standing on their heads. Fit the board with nuts to the screws. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Sounds like you have two dead cartridges now. Buying a used cartridge off f.e. Ebay is always a gamble. I would suggest sending the original cartridge to Axel in Germany and have it rebuilt. It's a bit costly but worth every euro in my opinion, especially since you are so happy with the Beocenter. What is the diameter and thickness of the nylon insert ? I had some made for the Beogram 6006/8000/8002 where I've replaced many. (It breaks when the Beogram is shipped with the platter mounted). The idea of having some made for this one is not impossible. Martin

That's a common problem and it's always exactly THAT screw. Add a drop of araldite to the screw, insert it, leave it overnight and tighten it the next morning. Alternatively, use a slightly larger screw. Martin
