And so the story continues:- After removing the skirting in the half bay window i done some damage to the plasterboard wall, so off came the plasterboard, to reveal that this is a single skin wall with some wooden framing that the plasterboard is attached to. So once the plasterboard was off, i bought some insulation board, which was placed between

This evening my lounge looks like this. The 9000, 4000's and BV3 all now have to be un-connected and put in a safe place for the soundproofing and plasterboarding and the electric sockets to be done. But for the rest of the weekend im going to enjoy some music and TV.

The only way to connect these connections was to stand half way up a step ladder and hug the 9000 close to my body and wall yet far enough away from wall for my misses to push in the connections. There wasnt enough 'play' on the am aerial to get that in so i remounted the 9000, pushed up the bit of wood again, and with my head torch on i struggled

Has anyone ever tried hanging their BS9000 on the wall where the cables are built in? Honestly, this job is not to be taken lightly, it was a huge struggle. To start with i placed the 9000 and the wall mount and wedged a bit of batten up the back and attempted to connect the cables. This was impossible.

So at this stage all the B&O installation cables are in place and i thought at this point i should really connect everything up and test, just to make sure everything is working correctly before i plasterboard everything in. Its also worth pointing out that the ground floor in my house is a suspended floor so all cables from one side of the room

The aerial guys were brilliant and didnt charge me for re-routing the Sky cables (to be fair i could have done this myself). When i originally had sky installed i was out playing cricket and got home to find they had run the cables from the back of the house in the guttering to the front of the house. They said they werent insured to go in the loft

Im quite handy with a bit of carpentry, but im no carpenter, so after work today i asked my chippy mate James to pop round and fit the new door frame to the front room. I had ripped out the old one on Wednesday, had the wood ready in the garage, and to be fair to James he is a brilliant carpenter and could get the frame made up and fitted in no time
