    pick up some singer oil on ebay. Don't use anything like wd40, and I wouldn't advise 3in1 either. It is best to remove the arms but you will need circlip pliars for this, and a lot of care.

    I would like to see a clearer pic of that dog Evan. Not a dog person myself however if I had a choice it would be a collie every time! I believe they are hard work though!

    Hi Ziggy, if you hear a loud click** when the arm is expected to lower, then it is just dried lube on the mechanism. Fairly straight forward for the mechanically minded requiring partial strip and re-applying a good quality lube such as singer oil - there are lots of posts on this common issue to help you, although people are always willing to offer

    Does anyone here like the Half life series? I am personally waiting for Black Mesa to be released and hopefully this will allow me to work my way through all the half life series beginning to end just in time for Episode 3 :)

    The reason I ask is because I was quite surprised when a non working example went for just over £100 on ebay yesterday! This included some minor scratches to the metal keypad too! There were other items by the same seller that went for a surprising amount considering the condition too. Only good deal was the CDX2 IMO which went for about £40
