David I agree that it is a most generous offer to the Beoworld community. Sadly it is a little too large and retro for my better half to have in our house (I asked!). She does like the LS/LX series though, so the search goes on. Simon

I am not surwe where it started, but it Deal or No Deal seems to be like a 'franchise' that pops up in all sorts of different countries.

Thanks for update. I agree about wanting to keep older kit alive, even if it means spending more than the equipment would cost to replace. Apologies if I am missing the obvious here, but are the components soldered on the reverse of the circuit board or are they being pulled in and out of the slots in some way? Simon

The King Street in question is the B&O Branch at King Street in Manchester. I am on the lookout for a 28" older Beovision bit I need a SCART input which I don't think this model has. Simon

I have a defunct Becentre 2000 in the loft. There are some fundamental issues with it that make it one of the least popular B&O systems. Firstly it was made in Japan, apart from the turnable components, so many B&O enthusiasts don't see it as a real B&O system. This also applies to the 2002 and 2200. There are better B&O systems

Congratulations on a job well done! If you really can't find a home for them I might be able to help........ Simon
