Patrick, To reset a Mark II Beocom 6000 handset the commands are totally different as follows:- Press 9#9#9* INT You will see HS SW version in the screen Turn the dial clockwise until it says "Reset handset" Press OK

At the 9 o'clock postion of the centre dial you will have a button mark with a DOT or the letters INT If you have the button with a DOT then you have a Mark I handset and my previous instructions were for a Mark I If you have the letters INT then you have a Mark II handset, then the code I gave you is not applicable

Putting aside any technical descussion one may have about the value of DAB, for me its not like moving to digital television where you have more content etc, digital radio allows for more channels, but not much more. add to that, the fact that more and more digital radio stations can be found on Sky, Freeview and the Internet and its difficult to see

In my view the problem is very unlikely to be the base because you get the message on the handset "Power down.." It is possible that you have a faulty battery, but more likely is an electronic fault on the main PCB

This subject made it to the TODAY programme on Radio 4 this morning. It appears there is not enough money is available to make DAB available in all areas currently covered by FM Apparently, last year only 2000 cars were sold with DAB radios, so i guess the rest had FM radios.

Hello JP and a very warm welcome to Beoworld Based on the information you have provided I feel you have a key item missing. The RJ11 does have an adapter and you must use the B&O version which also connects to teh power supply. Your customer needs to find the original cable, power supply and connector as below

If there is no RMT number on the remote, then I expect the unit was made by someone else other than Sony. However, this does not actually matter, regardless of who makes it you will be able to use bitstream with repeat. If you have captured all the remote codes with the Lintronic box and you would like me to have a look at them for you, then put them
