  • Re: Time to vote for a new name !

I like 'Workbench' but only because it won't put people off asking what they think are simple questions. Also it could happily include my favorite and something I particularly specialize in - bodges for older equipment!

  • MCP 5500 Glass has come loose

Hi there, I have an MCP 5500 in great nick but the glass has come free taking half of the dark film with it leaving half behind....quite a mess. Any suggestions? Is it salvageable? I was thinking some sort of really dark window tint or something. Many thanks, Steve

  • Re: Service Manual Beovox5 Nr. 3538717

Peter I would send them to you long term without any payment, or to anyone who can make copies for the site. If any silver & gold members want borrow to make pdf's more the merrier. I'd feel enormous guilt charging you for the benefit of the site. The thing is I bought all these manuals & can't afford just to give the originals away

I have a Beovox 5 service manual. The standard manual covers Beovox 3000, Beolab 3000, Beovox 5000 & Beolab 5000. Suppliments added to this manual when the new products come out were Red Line 1000/2000/6000/7000, Beolab 4500 & Beolab 8000. These have all been added to the manual that I have. I also have Beovox 2 (S25, S35, S45-2, S75, M75, M100

  • Re: User and Service manuals

Most manuals are multi lingual and I'm sure the BS4500 manuals are in English, German, French & Danish. Peter is putting then on soon so have a look.

  • Re: User and Service manuals

Wings: I would be grateful for a copy of the service manual for the Beolab 2500 (if one is available). Thanks in advance. I had a look. Seems I have everything but! EDIT: I have found quite a thick Beosystem 2500 Circuit Description manual and in there it has a section on the Beolab 2500 showing block descriptions & detailed diagram info. No exploded
