• Re: Beocom 5 pics!

Oops. One boob - B&O have released their cataglogue, promoting www.bang-olufsen.com/beocom5 and the URL doesnt' exist. No mention of the phone on the website either. Slight PR error there.

  • Re: BeoVision 7-40 Mk IV DVB-HD update via internet

I'll try this later! Any news on what is in the latest update? My BV7-40 MKIV *still* crashes when watching Sky (although the BV8 never crashes, using the same Sky box!).
Should be here for Christmas and priced just below the Beocom 2. Around £600. Doesn't really grab me but certainly fills a gap.
I'm thinking about getting one for the office - but £600 is at the absolute top end of a price I'd pay for a phone. It's nice, but isn't superb. You're

  • Re: B and O on Amazon
It's not easy doing pre-owned as i'm sure anyone doing it now will agree. Trying to get hundreds of dealers to do it together in unison should be interesting to say the least!
To be fair, isn't that something that car dealers have offered, for years? Go to a VW garage, ask them for a specific second

  • Re: B and O on Amazon
I think it is B and O, not an individual store.
Yes, you are right, it's B&O. Interesting to see that they are promoting pre-owned products on there (although none are listed).
Dear Beoworld, You made the your next mistake! By justifying to the forum the deletion of my posting, you did post my credentials. So all third parties can read them. If I had used my actual credentials how save would these have been if you were confronted by real pressure of a third party? Anyway, how save are our

  • Re: Demise of B&O York?
A trip to Skipton and King Street is on the cards for me. Less chance of collapse as they only have 1 store :-)
Let me know how you get on with Skipton - they are just up the road from my traditional 'home town', so if I ever moved back up there, then that would be my local store!

  • Re: BV9
I am so tempted to buy a full HD BV9 for ca. 8.500 - 9.500 EUR. The prices in this part of the world seem to have ditched...
Wow, that's crazy. That's less than *half* the UK price. Over here, the BV9 is around £16K, so it's a steal at EUR 8500. It's going to be interesting to see how they

How about...erm....B&O of Skipton? :) Looking online, there appears to be a B&O representative in the small town of Skipton - not far from you? Ever visited that store?

  • Re: Demise of B&O York?
Honestly, it's like watching swine flu spreading.. Sad times...
But wasn't swine flu both exaggerated and lasted for a short period of time? Mind you, losing the one and only store in a city such as York is rather surprising. Mind you, still don't know how B&O of Yarm survives.
