Have heard that we can expect a new finish for the BC2 - will get both Aluminium and steel finishes. There is also to be an audio only model designed for those with a BV7 so that the DVD is not duplicated. Obviously cheaper - I seem to remember someone asking for this so they do listen! The difference is in the cable box - the head units are the same

ICE power rated at 35W per module but producing the same sound pressure as the old ones. I guess this is done for economies of scale rather than anything else. It would be interesting to hear them side by side!

Need to buy a new iPod as this one is full! Why they fit such small drives is beyond me! (Full 80Gb model!) I clearly need to go back to the BS2!

Manuals are available to those members with either

Worth a try! I seem to recall that the 5000 does have proper pre-amp out sockets whereas some of the later ones simply had an attenuated power amp out - which was not the same at all! I see the picture now - is it the Line in and out that are connected?
-
Are those the ones with a pair of metal U links in them. The problem with these are that you lose any power amplifier output and MCL . may not be a problem.

I use a splitter - two input sockets going into one jack.
