I don't think that statement is true. PUC and STB was always there. They just have limited resources. Nothing wrong with a BC2 for music (you can get it without DVD which I decided not too.). BS5 is digital audio only, I see this more as an add on. That said, I read here that b.ueray player sometimes have problems reading DVD so BC2 and Playstation

Well, if you take a look at the controls for the Jaeger/Lutron setup it should be possible to adjust that for other vendors. I recall that in IRED and other software pieces the IR command wasn't much more then a long string of numbers. If you find out what is different for the Jaeger/Lutron and normal B&O controls, that should show you how to

How did you get that to work? So you are not using the STBc inside the TV (doubt your 20 year old has that to begin with).

For surround, you can take a amplifier with regulated out. It sure looks ugly and you have to get a Lintronik box or live with multiple remotes. I personally wouldn't.

I thought that was supposed to be a replacement for the Beo4, a simpler version. One that doesn't have to be programmed. If BS5 comes without 2 way I don't think they have to bother. On more thing, the rotation wouldn't make much sense to me. You do this once when you install the thing. Think about the BS9000 with a rotation feature. They should of course support the different installation scenarios but to make a rotation feature part of the design when they could just attach a different podest or stand? I am hoping badly you

We haven't heard a thing about a 2 way remote besides not to worry about it and in the times or business week interview it was described to be like Sonos. Can it be that the Alu ring is not for rotating it but for taking the Table off the stand? In the pictures of the concept they showed people holding a table. Also, they hinted in a slogan that

i could not believe what I read here until I looked myself for the price of the Kuro since there were so many heated discussions about B&O pricing.
