This volume control is not the traditional rheostat found in most audio devices. It is actually controlling a disc which breaks a light beam repeatedly. No crackling in years to come, by carbonned up potentiometers! Oh my goodness! My hair is thinning so much, and appears to be going grey!

I've no idea why this photo' is blurred, I took it the same way as all the rest. You can clearly see the flash reflecting of the drivers through the frets.

What's this? Oh, it's the wall fixing plate, unused.
