If it is your main living room, remember that it is a living room and you have to live there! Therefore I would pay attention to the wife! I would get BL3s all round, get a Beolab 2 and replace the TV speaker with a 7.4. You will still have superb sound and I am sure the sound will be fantastic. I would use the cash saved to buy the wife something really

I think the 3404 is a US model designed to work with the Beomaster 2400-2 and uses different codes to the later Datalink models. That is probably the cause! Replacing belts should not be too awful and Martin (Dillen) sends instructions! I probably would worry about doing it as I am technically useless but would probably have a go! The 3300 actually

It is an addition not a replacement. Plugs in as a module like the module in the Beosystem 3. Also fits the BC6-26" and the Avant DVD and BV3. Very expensive!!

paddy2042: I have since found a UK site that sells the converter. However it makes the Apple TV far too expensive for what it can do. The converter is almost 100 pound UK. I guess I will wait for something else. I already stream my music to the BC2 and Avant - I just have to look at the frontrow graphics on the computer screen instead of the TV. I have

beomom: Just found a bunch of vintage B&O components: BeoGram 2000 BeoMaster 3300 BeoMaster 2000 BeoCord 2000 BeoCord 3000 BeoGram CD3300 We tested the BeoMaster 3300 with the CD and it sounds fabulous. Tried hooking up the BeoGram 3404 (that we already had) to the BeoMaster 3300 and the tone arm goes out and over the album, then goes back. Over

The most recent list mentions the Strong 5200,5300 and 5400. I imagine that they must share some codes with yours. Are they listed on your set? Don't know about the Digital sound but check the box settings as this is usually the problem.

I believe you need to use the special option setting! Option 5 allows you to set the TV to receive only video commands and the audio to accept only audio commands. The alternative is to set the MCL to option 4 where you will have to press LINK before the commands to work it.

Why not see if he would let the visiting Beoworld team meet him when they go to Struer? I certainly would love to see what he does when I next go back!

SteveB: Any chance of adding the PCG (Product configuration Guide) software, this was available on the old CC Cheers Steve I am sure we will - It is on my list of things to add! Where do you think would be a good place to put it?

I don't mind mix and matching - I use a Beogram 4004 with a Beomaster 5500/CX100/PC2/BL3 (I know - complicated!!) but I would not use active speakers with the Beolab 5000 amplifier - rather removes the point!
